【环球网综合报道】台媒6月5日报道，陈水扁保外就医后，首次回到台北市，4日他在“粉丝”的簇拥下，坐着轮椅北上出席募款餐会，面对记者追问，他不说话，一手拿拐杖，另一手大拇指不断颤抖，身旁还有医师、复健师及陈致中陪伴。不过，他下午搭高铁北上时，却被媒体直击，他一看到镜头突然伸出手抖动，4日晚间在网络疯传，引起热烈讨论。
报道称，陈水扁一行人搭乘高铁经济舱北上，坐在靠窗位置的他，依然是焦点，身旁是随行医师陈顺胜。不过根据台湾中视报道，陈水扁被媒体直击，原本坐在位子“叉手环抱胸前”，一看到镜头，立刻又突然伸出右手，且大拇指不断抖动。
台湾东森新闻云5日报道称，曾任陈水扁民间医疗小组召集人的台北市长柯文哲5日受访指出，陈水扁的病情他最清楚，“焦虑的时候就开始抖;他的病况我很清楚”，他解释颤抖有很多种，媒体要特别操作他也没辙。
